While I'd say those three are probably the easiest to form the Roman Empire as, it's not too difficult to do it as other nations either. Austria and Poland both work as well, but Poland will have to work a bit harder because they own none of the provinces needed to form SPQR at the start. Alternatively, you could even start as one of the Italian nations and form Italy before doing it. Italy's ideas allows much easier handling of AE, and the core-creation cost ain't no Ottoman Millets, but it's not too shabby either. Aragon works as well, but they can't get the inheritance, and their ideas aren't that good militarily so you'll want to form another nation (such as forming Byzantium or Italy). Either way, these are only my suggestion, you can go for whichever one you like. The empire will cease to function if all member states are eliminated. However, if Christian nations are released or revolt in HRE provinces, the empire will be re-declared. Category: Europa Universalis Posted on August 14, As some of you might know, yesterday was the 6th anniversary for Europa Universalis IV. We want to take this opportunity to congratulate Paradox and all EU4 fans on this occasion. The border of the Holy Roman Empire is also indicated on the map. All areas, provinces and realms will have. When the League war ends in your favor, you will still be bleeding IA - that's when you start enforcing religious conversions. You do this by adding a province->demand religious conversion with the 1 IA you gained. Nations too big to convert in one go have to be broken up into smaller states(here - and only here, really - is liberation of any importance).I was constantly at war, I mean constantly, keeping everyone in line to keep my prince count up, releasing anyone that got annexed. It didn't really seem to matter because I was still gaining only 0.16 or so IA compared to the 0.23 I had into the earlier stages of the game.
Please help with verifying or updating older sections of this article. At least some were last verified for version 1.25. The number of princes nowadays isn't really that much of a priority anymore. Sure, it's a nice bonus to get - but it's also important to realize that internal peace in the Empire grants you a flat +0.1 IA per month, which is pretty freaking huge. That's up to ~two reforms passed before Reformation hits.Okay, so - I'm not an expert, but I did manage to Revoke around 1620ish(in 1.13), which I think is reasonable.
A great example of that, is the interactivity between the missions and the Shogun Government Abilities. I thought i would look at this and see people being able to form it in 1490 or something way better than me. So I'm currently doing a play through and revoked at about 1540. My opening moves were to ally Aragon and Hungary. Typically you want as many princes possible so my method is to create more princes. So with my first war with Venice I take the Croatian culture province. Then i take over all those small nations including taking Corfu. After adding them into the empire and converting the provinces I release all the one province nations and keep the Serbian/Bosnian land. With that aside, you shouldnt really be trying to expand your nation. The point of this game is to keep as many princes available and keep your IA gain high. Dont ally any belligerent princes to avoid them blobbing in the empire. Also the Burgundian inheritance is a bad thing because it reduces the number of princes significantly and also makes it so France hates your guts for land that truly doesnt really add much. Also make sure to let Hungary and aragon fight most of your wars for you. I find it as soon as Austria is a little weak, everything begins to fall apart. So always try to stay out of the fight and just let dependable Hungary do all the dirty work. Europa Universalis 4 is getting another expansion, bringing the number up to daunting 13. I play 1.12 so there's no 10 year penalty for allies joining wars or else I have no idea how it'd be possible. What I did was getting that diplomacy going, keep 3 electors as friends at all times (sometimes it can be troublesome as those damn princes just keep waging wars against each other - f*** I am so tired of Brandenburg). Also, I allied both France and Poland. Those two and with my Bohemia/Hungary PUs + my own army and I could pretty much release all princes that would ever get annexed. Also, the imperial liberation can be quite hard to actually manage to use (the CB lasts for so few years it seems), so when you war any princes, make sure than you separate peace everyone and make them release princes that other princes might have annexed. Also, when the religious leagues and heretic princes start to form you're pretty much doomed for IA. Your best hope is to try and keep those precious IA that you've gathered up until this point and wait for the Westaphalia to strike or just go for it and f*** up the protestant league (catholic (Y)).
